1971 SS Update 02/08
Being that I won't get
to the full restoration until hopefully the fall of 2008, I decide to do a few
things to personalize the car for this seasons cruising. In these pictures I
have on my 17 inch rims and tires as well as a steel cowl hood that I made
(from an extra hood). It's a functioning hood that delivers air off of the
windshield and into the engine.

I had some bad luck with the engine and spun a bearing. So with that excuse I rebuilt the engine and added some horses. Now it's pushing 525hp, it's been stroked and is now a full "roller" motor.

While I was waiting for the engine to come back from the machine shop I detailed the interior. Re-dyed the seats (until I reupholster them), replaced the rug, cleaned and detailed the dash and console, restretched the headliner as well as some other cleaning and new knobs here and there.
