New Project 2003

Part 5

The trunk stripped to bear metal. Note the wheel wells, it had minimal rust that was cut out and patched.

Trunk in DP epoxy primer.

The under carraige was cleaned of all the under coating, sandblasted and then sanded . Here it is in DP primer.

The under carraige was painted with PPG DBU black to seal and protect it. After the car is painted this will get recoated with the correct under carraige black.

Front shot.

Both the right and left doors where stripped to the metal. It was surprising that both doors had no rust and only a couple of small dimples in them.
