Monte Carlo Restoration Part 6

Engine all ready to start for the first time in nearly 5 years. Rims and tires installed.

Close up of engine. Note the master cylinder and brake booster out of a 1987 Monte Carlo . It's only 9" across and therefore makes plenty of room for the big valve covers. It also looks trick

Custom made dash insert. The original holes were sealed and new ones made for the arrangement 

of Autometer gauges. It's painted the same color as the car.

All of the body panels reinstalled. Check out the rims and tires. 18x9.5" in the rear and 18x8" in the front. 

In the end the car will need to be lowered a little. Next is a lot of little things and then the next big project, the interior. Should be completed by Spring 2003 and ready for the shows.
