Monte Carlo Restoration Part 4

The original hood cut in preparation of a steel cowl to be grafted on.

The underside structure welded on. Note the baffle already welded to the top side. 

This is to direct air off the windshield and into the air cleaner. The cowl is hanging in the background.

The cowl welded to the hood. All the ugliness was sanded to the metal and primed.

The finished underside of the hood.

The car in primer. Note the hood, almost looks factory. Also the doors have been shaved and the front seams finished.
