1969
Camaro

\
This is the "Before" shot. The car was a standard coupe with a straight 6 engine.
It turned out to have a lot more rust than I expected. The car had two other paint jobs under the blue.

In the end both quarters, rocker panels, and door skins were replaced along with the front and rear valances,
the dash board top and most of the floor plans. Surprisingly the trunk floor was solid and both front fenders had been replaced prior.

Due to space, here is a four year later jump right to the engine. Needless to say it was a long hard four years but a lot got accomplished.
This
is the 454 big block assembled by my brother and installed by myself and the
owner of the car (Scott-a really good friend of mine).
I couldn't even begin to give you all the goodies (and money) in this car but
lets just say it's a screamer.

Here's the finished car, it's hard to tell but the car is a polo green.
It looks great under direct light and looks almost black under low light. It's straight as an arrow.
The car should be a show car but Scott insists on beating the heck out of it on the track.
It runs consistant mid 11's all day long.

Another finished shot of the car. The car gets plenty of looks and comments.
In fact an actual quote was " it's nice to see someone beating the snot out of such a pretty car".
